Today, I wanted to share a card I created using the Gina K Designs Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set and the Wreath Builder stencil, along with some products from Stampin’ Up!.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. I love all the warm Fall colors with the leaves changing and the days are cooler. Here in Arizona, we don’t get much of a fall. In fact, we are still at 103 degrees high each day and nights are in the 80s!
I thought about a fall card reminiscent of my days on the upper East coast where there are all the pretty fall colors, and created a card using oranges, dark greens and deep purples.
I used the stamp set Autumn Wreath Builder and the larger of the two wreath builder stencils. There are quite a few little images that can be used to create the wreath. I used one some of the leaf branches, a fall leaf and a small flower. There are several sentiments in the set. I chose to use ‘So Grateful For You’ as the sentiment in the center of the card.
I have a MISTI but I decided to try the Stampin’ Up! Stamparatus to stamp my wreath. I will be doing a review video shortly comparing the two stamp positioning tools but for the most part, it did very well. I did have a small learning curve being a MISTI user since it first came on the market.
Here are the tools and products I used to create the card:
Stamp set: Gina K Autumn Wreath Builder
Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! Pumpkin Pie
Inks: Stampin’ Up! Pumpkin Pie, Merry Merlot, Old Olive, Cajun Craze
Tools: Stampin’ Up! embossing folder, vines (retired), Stamparatus, Jewel picker for the sequins and pearls.
Well, that should do it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
