I wanted to share my new KJV Bible from Thomas Nelson.
It is such a pretty Bible. I first saw it being shown on Lindsey Decor's youtube channel and then by Scribbling Grace's youtube channel.
I have a KJV Bible but it was the version My Creative Bible and I have since moved onto having no pre-published artwork in the margins. I have changed the way I study now so the margins are used for note taking with some stickers for emphasis.
I currently use a Crossways ESV Bible for my devotional reading but really wanted to get into Bible Study and wanted to do that with a KJV Bible.
The cover design I chose is a cloth bound cover with florals and stitching all around the cover. I love the look of this bible! It is so beautiful and makes me really want to get into the word.
The pages inside are a darker cream color than most and is darker than my Crossways but I am good with that. I use Prismacolor colored pencils for my outlining and they will show up nicely.
The Bible has two ribbons, on a grey that matches the cover and the other a cherry color that matches the cherry color on the flower petals.
I also purchased coordinating Bible Tabs for the edge of my Bible. All my Bibles have matching Bible tabs. I find it a helpful tool for me when I study to quickly find books of the Bible. I am getting better now since studying for about a year that I know where each book is. I don't really need the tabs but I like the look of the them.
Here is a look at the cover. The white in the center is a nice bright clean white.
Well, that should do it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by.
