Today, I wanted to share with you a set of cards I created using the Grateful Heart Scrapbooking Kit along with the Grateful Heart Cardmaking Stamp set.
The Grateful Heart Scrapbooking kit has enough supplies to make 3 two-page layouts, and with the addition of the stamp set, 2 each of 4 card designs. Today, I wanted to showcase the cards because they are so beautiful.
While I enjoy making all types of cards, these designs are more like me. I love the paper piecing along with incorporating all the images in the stamp set. Each card has added texture of either cork shapes, ribbon or tiny staples.
The instructions that come with the kit called for a stamping technique of rocking and rolling on the butterfly image. Instead, I inked up the butterfly with Saffron ink, then used a sponge dauber with pomegranate ink on the edges. I did the leaves the same way using saffron ink with fern ink.
The kit was very easy to assemble. The only thing to watch out for it to make sure to follow the cutting guide. When I was finished, I only had 2 12×12 full papers left along with 1/2 of a 12×12 so there isn’t a lot of room for any mis-cuts. Here is the cutting guide.
I really enjoyed the Grateful Heart Scrapbooking kit. For $33.95, the kit is complete with papers, embellishments and ribbon. I have extra embellishments, cork shapes and ribbon to add to my stash for another project. Adding the Grateful Heart Cardmaking Stamp set for $14.95 and I can reuse the stamps for other projects in the future.
Well, on to the next project – You Got This. Thanks so much for stopping by.
