Today, I created a Christmas card mostly from using dies and minimal stamping. The only stamping I did was the sentiment. It is a clean and simple card that only took about 30 minutes to make.
I used a half a sheet of glitter paper I purchased from Michaels and the new flurries die from My Favorite Things free with a purchase of $60.00 and die cut a bunch of snow flakes. The paper was thick so I had to run it through with my crafter’s companion machine which has more pressure for intricate dies.
I used a piece of American Crafter’s textured cardstock in Navy and ran it through my Big Shot using the My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangles 1. I also took some white cardstock and ran it through the Big Shot with the My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangles 2.
I randomly glued the silver glitter snowflakes over the card base and trimmed any overhang. I then used a Memory Box Label Die to cut out the label and stamped the Merry Christmas from the Lawn Fawn Christmas Dream stamp set in Memento Paris Dusk ink, popped it up on foam adhesive and attached it to the center of the card.
I placed a piece of fun foam on the back of the white piece of cardstock and then adhered it to the Navy cardstock piece.
I attached the assembled card front to a top folded A2 size card. Well, that will do it for today.
