Today, I wanted to share my ink swatching that I did using the Waffle Flower Swatch Tag and Die along with SSS Swatches Stamp set.
I had originally used the 2x2 squares that Jennifer McGuire had but I when I saw the nw Waffle Flower Swatch Tag Die, I knew that I wanted to change my swatch system.
I like the faux stitching around the edges that the die creates. I used Neenah Crest Solar White 110lb Cardstock and ran the die through the Big Shot. I found that if I cut the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet in the middle at 4 1/4, I can get 8 cuts per sheet.
I took the Swatch Tag stamp and cut the bottom of the stamp so that I only inked up starting from Name and below. I next used the SSS Swatches stamp set stiped stamp for the inking above. The SSS has 4 different swatch stamps: a solid, a striped, and two others.
I then used trading card sleeves to hold the swatches. They hold 18 per sleeve and come in a set of 25. There are larger sets but I don't have a ton of inks. So far, I have swatched out my Stampin' Up! inks and my Altenew inks. I still have to do my distress inks.
That is all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
