Today, I wanted to post about my new NordicTrack X22i Trainer Treadmill. I have been working with my doctor on getting my health back since losing my thyroid in 2015 and she requested I start walking longer, between 45 and 60 minutes, at least 4 times per week.
Living in the desert makes that very difficult in the summer time so I went and invested in the NordicTrack X22i Incline Trainer Treadmill and I love it!
I went to the website and did some research. This treadmill received 5 stars for its performance and durability. I ordered mine on a holiday special. I got the treadmill mat free and a discount on the weights (the weights are not included in any of the models).
It is a massive treadmill. Well, not really but it looks big in my bedroom. It has a heart rate monitor, an LCD screen, fan, controls for the incline and the speed, and the belt has cushioning.
This model has the 22inch LCD screen which is super nice. There is another model with a 10 inch screen that is a little bit cheaper which is also very nice.
I also received the iFit Coach for 3 years and the iFit Vue wearable for free. I love the coach. There are a variety of workouts with new ones added all the time.
I have been to Hawaii and South Africa and plan on going to New Zealand next. There are different coaches all around the world and when you are in the zone, its easy to forget that you aren’t really there. It makes the time walking go by fast. There are different intensity workouts depending on fitness level from moderate to very intense.
The machine will adjust the speed and incline automatically based on the workout chosen but if it becomes too intense, I can manually override the settings. There is an option to go back to the workout setting at any time in the workout.
The weights are adjustable. There are two sets, ones that adjust to 12.5 pounds and ones that adjust to 25. I chose the 12.5 because I will be lucky to lift the 12. LOL. They came with a stand that slides under the treadmill to keep it stable.
I received an extended 3 year warranty on parts and labor as well.
All in all, I am really pleased with the investment. I am super excited to be using it. A 30 minute walk goes by so fast.
