Today, I created a card using the Lawn Fawn stitched leaves die and I really love the way it turned out. I started out using Neehah Solar White 110lb cardstock and ran the stitched dies through my Bigshot. I used a variety of distress inks and distress oxide inks in the following colors:
Red Leaves: Spiced Marmalade, Barn Door, Wild Honey, Firebrick Red on the edges and Vintage Photo on the edges
Yellow Leaves: Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo on the edges
Green Leaves: Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Mustard Seed (Lightly), Vintage Photo on the edges
For the sentiment in the center, I used the Stampin’ Up! word die Thanks and cut it out of Copper metal sheet by Spellbinders. I had to run it through with a cardstock wedge to cut all the way through the metal. I cut the white panel out of Neehah Solar White Cardstock using the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangles. I glued the thanks in the center of the panel and layered the leaves around the sentiment. I put some foam on the back of the pane to give it dimension when it is adhered to the card front.
I used a piece of Lawn Fawn Knock on Wood 6×6 designer paper and inked the edges with Vintage Photo. I adhered it to the front of a top folding A2 size card base. I then added the front panel center to the base.
The leaf colors are so beautiful. The card is really pretty in person and it didn’t take long to make. That should do it for today’s card.
